Position Overview
As a Pricing Manager at Freightel, you will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies that ensure competitiveness, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Your role will be pivotal in analyzing market trends, managing rate requests, collaborating with sales and operations, and driving optimized pricing models for both local and global freight services.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage competitive pricing strategies across all freight channels (air, sea, land).

Analyze market conditions, carrier rates, customer trends, and competitor pricing to guide pricing decisions.

Collaborate closely with the sales team to support bids, RFQs, and large contract negotiations.

Manage and respond to global pricing requests in a timely and accurate manner.

Maintain and update rate sheets, tariffs, and pricing databases.

Monitor margins and recommend improvements for better profitability and service alignment.

Ensure pricing strategies comply with internal policies and external regulations.

Provide detailed reporting and analysis on pricing performance, trends, and forecasts.
Qualifications & Skills

5+ years of experience in pricing, preferably within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain.

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

In-depth knowledge of global freight markets and carrier pricing structures.

Proficiency with pricing tools, Excel, and ERP/CRM systems.

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
